Visualization Stress Management

A technique widely acclaimed that many of us have used or heard about relating to sports. When a player "Visualizes" kicking, running, swimming, diving, etc. the player can actually improve skills without actual physical practice. Research has shown that performance can be enhanced with mental imagery. The complicated definition for this theory is "Rational Emotive Imagery" and it is widely researched and documented. In this Step of the IACT Program you will learn these visualization techniques to help you manage emotions, in the same manner that athletes visualize a sporting activity to improve physical performance.
